Mike Reich, who you may know has been with our firm for over three years, recently graduated from the University of Georgia with a master’s degree in Financial Planning and successfully passed the Certified Financial Planner™ exam last month. Now that Mike has completed all testing, he will be moving into a new role as the Director of Financial Planning for our firm. I wanted to formally announce Mike’s transition and discuss the two ways our clients benefit from his new role.
First, Mike’s ability to take over all financial planning issues allows me more time to focus solely on wealth management, something I have excelled at in my over 31 years in the industry. It is extremely important to understand the current market conditions and I am very confident in our current holdings and their underlying fundamentals. It’s very easy to follow the crowd and jump ship when everyone is selling around you, but this is a loser’s mentality. We must stay the course and understand that irrational markets always revert to the mean long term. Something I have always found to be true is that it’s not about timing the market, but time in the market.
Second, this is a great opportunity for all clients to reach out to Mike with specific questions or concerns regarding their current financial condition. For example, Mike can answer questions regarding estate planning, retirement, education planning, tax and insurance. Mike has demonstrated strong work ethic and a dedication to continual learning. His contributions have brought added value not only to our firm, but also our clients. Mike is beginning the process of reviewing client files for any potential issues or concerns regarding financial planning and will address these via telephone or during our annual review meetings. Please feel free to reach out to Mike via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or on our office phone at 859-223-6333.
We are very excited for Mike and our firm as this is a great time for us! The future is bright, and we look forward to serving you every single day. I hope you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
